Product Introduction

The PDT-01A1 series probes are ultra-compact sized charged particle probes developed based on planar cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) crystals, offering extremely high energy resolution for α-rays.


nside the PDT-01A1, there is a CZT crystal (with various crystal sizes available for user selection) and a low-noise charge-sensitive preamplification circuit. It converts incident α particles into corresponding amplitude signals with exponential decay. These signals can be directly fed into a multichannel energy spectrum collection system (optional) through the provided five-core cable in conjunction with a high-voltage power supply (optional) and a spectrometer amplifier (optional).

Effective detection area: 400/490/900 mm² (other sizes customizable)

Energy resolution: <1.0% @ 5.48 MeV, vacuum
